You could technically use one of these is a tablet because it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth right?

Gigantic front speakers instead of D-PAD and 2 shoulder buttons. Please, call some gamers to test your thing before launch!

If a thumbstick is what they're going for, I honestly think a 3DS style one would've worked better. It's much more compact and more precise for 2D gaming.

No D-Pad? Old games are what I want to play. I am still happy with the RG350 retrogame.

I wanted to build one of this myself, and got the same screen with HDMI. The diagonal tearing is horrible, you can even notice it in the video :(. I don't think it can be fixed as it is a hardware problem of the lcd itself.

Okay I broke down and bought this. Since it's release i haven't seen anything like it with a dpad and I tried my Android tablet with a controller and a frontend and slowly updates started breaking the frontend I set up for days. I have a spare rpi 3b and I pulled some 18650's from a portable battery I wasn't using. This was the cheapest option for me and plays the systems I want. I can deal with the analog stick. I have played fighting games just fine with an analog stick.

Any similar updated gaming case with less clicky buttons and better handling? I have it and it's noisy and totally unconfortable to use.. also the missing dpad is a problem. I'm looking for something with all psx buttons.

looks like there is an indecent amount of lag! is there already any fix to reduce the lag, at least, to 0?

They did a hardware revision, my buttons are less clicky and the shoulder buttons are nicer.
