Wonderful collection introducing me to many new nocturnes after the supreme Chopin ones.
So helpful for bringing out late evening atmosphere, leaving the day far behind and relaxing into the night.

You missed john fields first nocturne being the most important piece in the history of nocturnes?
It kinda was the reason chopin, alkan, liszt, etc ever thought to make nocturnes to begin with.

A very nice compilation, indeed. I can't help noticing the tasteless cover artwork, which this series suffers from in general. There is a number classical paintings that would be much more appropriate here and I'm sure most of them are royalty-free.
