This is good. So one does not always need to create an artboard for working on jpegs. Just open the image and start photoshopicussing, correct? It's great that you mentioned the best case scenarios between choosing QS or MW tools. I had not heard that before and have become quite frustrated with the selections I've been getting with the magic wand tool.

It´s don´t select quickly, not for me, and I think it´s depend om what settings I have in selection tool mode. But youre not alone. Most of the people who load up clips on youtube belives that I am a mind reader and automaticly know the settings but not how to use the tool itself.

Thank you for taking the time to be thorough in your explanations. I've watched so many tutorials supposedly for beginners, and yours is the first one I've found that actually explains HOW to use the tools. I was getting ready to give up on Photoshop, but I will try again with your help. Again, many thanks!

Great tutorial. I just discovered your channel and you're really good at this: You have an actual narrative to the video and use the tools you show in the context of a "real" project in the end so it's never boring. You always say it out loud when you press a hotkey literally making me learn just by listening. "Q" switches to mask mode… who would've thought

Always enjoy the videos, much appreciated. But Ed, you've had 'Photoshop' spelled as 'Photshop' on the thumbnails of the videos for a while now!!!
