We have a solution for Coronovirus !
It is a mask unique in the world that destroys pathogens !
Go4Tech mask that protects life. By wearing masks that inactivate the Coronavirus actively, we will protect ourselves and others. Despite the pandemic, we will be able to meet together to fly planes and doctors and nurses will no longer be at risk. @t

Gan Kim Yong is an irresponsible Health Minister. How does he know he doesn't have COVID-19. Wearing a mask is essentially to prevent him from spreading the virus to others like the PM. If everyone wears a mask, the virus will be contained. Gan makes a mockery of the fight against the disease. Mr PM, shouldn't Gan be removed from leading the fight against COVID-19?

The PM hides behind the G4 and PM gives the G4 cover. It's a Win-Win arrangement for these bureaucrats. Where are the true leaders?

Don't bother reopening borders however 'small' or 'selective' when you have yet to tame the virus. It's just an exercise in futility.

Open border to which countries? Not to those countries without proper tests I supposed. Suggest all travellers to SG to have swap test either in their country or before entry. Hope no 14 days stay in. Because after 14 days some asymptomic may be walking freely spreading.

Do not allow social visit for the time being. Only those with work passes should be allowed to come and go.

We are all in the same storm but not in the same boat. Just as you miss seeing your family, there are others with children and parents abroad. Have courage and be kind.

Nice to see other countries reporting for covid-19 virus meetings. Hope leaders of many countries can see many countries and learn by their successes and failures.

Wishful thinking. As long as S'pore is #9 World's Worst COVID-19 cases per 1M population (and chasing to become #7 in few days), it's more likely other countries won't "selectively" reopen borders for travelers from S'pore.

THE SPEECH SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF CHINA. GO BACK TO WORK, OPEN BORDERS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING. SO ARE WE INVITING IMPORTED CASES FROM CHINA?

having the highest testing rates in the world isnt something to boast about. its more important not to allow the 2nd wave to happen and its confusing why the reopening of the borders is even being discussed, probably due to economic reasons. the borders should not be reopened until things get better in singapore as a whole.

We cannot even meet our close family members that we don’t stay together but they can open borders to let foreigner come in ? So now virus only can spread locally but won’t spread by foreigners ?

With an existing and ever-increasing 5-digit "backlog" cases from dorms, each worker requiring 2-3 weeks of recovery time to be fully cleared…
Re-opening the borders at this time will be too taxing on the medical staff if imported cases start happening again, no?
If they wanna re-open borders, then they better make sure they have measures in place to reach a near 0% imported cases efficiency.

SCMP: PM Lee "go about our lives as normally as possible"

In early March, while the coronavirus was engulfing countries around the world, PM Lee told Singaporeans to “go about our lives as normally as possible”.
Soon after, Singapore released its electoral boundaries report , a precursor to the election. It became apparent that the “dance” was more politically expedient than the “hammer”: the PAP would be able to call an early election (not due until April 2021) to leverage goodwill it earned from its Covid-19 response to date into a fresh, five-year mandate.

    Note: The rest is history..

Only talk, we are not interested. Until today, there's no improvement of foreign workers issue in our country. The number getting higher. Till when? It's disastrous for Singapore, being such a small country.

Sir, assume we hit magical zero cases. The virus is still there. Its going to live with the world for awhile. If we open borders, virus comes back in. So whats the plan? If we cannot control again then why are we going tru the pain of an extended lockdown, tabaos n work from home?

LOL opening the borders? In what world do these privileged politicians live in? because convid 19 is still very prominent worldwide. The smart thing to do would be to prolong the lock down for a few more weeks instead of opening up schools and what not. But I guess the economy and business as usual again must go on 🙁 A few peasants sacrificing their lives for our country's meaningless gdp is the greater cause. Am I right or am I right. Just like sacrificing our species' future for the lovely fantasy infinite growth economy on a finite physical constraint planet when we all know ecological collapse is ever so increasing before our eyes. Gotta love humanity, possibly the only 'intelligent' species that is willing to bury their head in the sand while simultaneously conjure up a future waste land at the expense of every inhabitants for one's own greed and convenience.
